ZOLLER, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Technical Support Engineer — Ann Arbor, Michigan

Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls on the technical support hotline, and assisting customers/service technicians
  • Repairing computers and machines and installing and calibrating new machines
  • Performing technical maintenance at customer locations, as needed
  • Supporting customers, field service engineers, and sales with machine and software troubleshooting and software demo versions
  • Converting databases and installing them on the new IPC retrofits / upgrades
  • Downloading software from ZGER and distributing it to engineers and customers
  • Repairing IPCs and diagnosing problems; rebuilding them as necessary
  • Troubleshooting PC and network issues, installing printers, setting up desktops and workstations
  • Training new employees, as needed
  • Providing backup to the shipping and receiving department, as needed
  • Retrofitting machines
  • Setting up electronic devices (iPhones, iPads, Laptops, External hard drives)
  • Testing and evaluating gage equipment and parts
  • Other tasks as assigned by management


Requirements:

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • 3-5 years technical experience in manufacturing, IPC, or related technical field
  • Proven experience with computers, Microsoft® Office, MS Office and ERP systems
  • Well organized with strong analytical skills
  • Able to communicate proficiently, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to cope with a sometimes hectic environment
  • Be a flexible team player and work independently
