Tool inspection already in the entry-level class
 
The tool presetter and measuring machine »smile« is now also available with the tool inspection – a simple and cost-effective entry-level solution or an ideal second machine for the small grinding and sharpening company. Now, in addition to all standard measurement functions, the axial and radial inspection and testing of contours of radii, angles, distances as well as wear in incident light and much more can be recorded faster and more accurately. The »smile« is simple to operate and guarantees fast and reliable start-up in all applications.

3D is the trend in measuring technology. Many geometries can only be captured and analyzed in 3D. The new six-axis CNC measuring machine »3dCheck« now features forward-looking options, including a user-friendly, fully automated measuring and analysis workflow for all popular standard geometries for round tools. A topographic target/actual comparison and optional cross sections allow a complete analysis of workpieces at a glance.

Tool Management
New CAM interfaces

Comprehensive data flow from the order to the finished part – who doesn't want that? TMS Tool Management Solutions allow for barrier-free and continuous communication between CAM, tool management, machines, and purchasing. The user-friendly interfaces from the TMS Tool Management Solutions are now available for two additional CAM systems: hyperMill and Surfcam, bringing it up to a total of 14. The CAM operator accesses the Zoller TMS database directly from the CAM system – without having to leave his system! Moreover, the ZOLLER software interface uses the familiar CAM tool structure, which also streamlines the work procedures.

Presetting & measuring
Process-reliable data communication for all situations

Process-reliable data communication with machines has been reality at ZOLLER for years. What is new is that data communication can now be guaranteed even if no network connection is available in a production area. Using a special label containing a DataMatrix code, you can easily transfer the previously measured actual tool data control specific to the INDEX CNC machine - quickly, automatically, and error-free. An inexpensive solution, especially for retrofits.

The »elephant« technology has been making the operation of tool presetters and measuring machines easier and more self-explanatory since 2007. Now it is an officially registered trademark. This technology enables tools to be automatically measured at the push of a button without entering data beforehand. Considered visionary at that time, proven hundreds of times on the market since then, second to none even today.
