What new products did you present at EMO? At the trade show, we presented our “Smart Cabinets” product line for the first time, which are entirely new intelligent tool storage systems with software connections. By connecting the Smart Cabinets to TMS Tool Management Solutions software, storage locations can be graphically displayed in 3D and inventory can be tracked, all at the click of a button. We not only offer the soft- ware, but also the compatible hardware for efficient and reliable tool handling over the entire lifespan of the tool, from a single source. We also demonstrated live at EMO that 24/7, unmanned tool preparation is possible. What was especially well received by exhibition attendees? We received outstanding feedback from customers and potential buyers from all over the world. especially due to the wide range of products covered by our portfolio that help us keep the en- tire production process in view. In addition to Smart Cabinets, automation solutions for tool preparation were also popular. We combine a robot solution with the »redomatic« presetting, measuring and heat-shrink machine for this purpose. How important is EMO to the production industry? EMO is a trendsetting exhibition in the industry. It helps us see where we are going, and what’s possible right now. For a company like ZOLLER that’s actively shaping the future of manufacturing and is on site worldwide, EMO is very important because it is such a key place to present innovations and because it attracts such an international group of attendees.
