DESIGN WITH TRUE ADDED VALUE
The development process focused specifically on
finding a design that would give customers true added
value. “More value through ergonomic operations, func
tionality, safety, speed, and at the end of the day
a pleasant work experience for the user,” Pfau says,
listing the advantages. “The new »cockpit« brings more
order to the workplace, which ultimately leads to better
results. The attractive look is certainly a plus as well,
and it underscores the high quality nature of the
machines and their technical superiority. But we weren’t
looking to win any design prizes, but rather to create
economic advantages for customers through function
ality and operating comfort. A beautiful exterior alone
isn’t any good if you have to work a long time with a
device — that’s why we encourage our customers to
test out the devices and take a look at the brand name
components installed in them.
A GREAT ASSET AND FUN TO WORK WITH
The futuristic redesign of the »eQ« singlehand operating
device is a highlight in the truest sense of the word.
It is visible from far away with gleaming yellow LEDs. In
addition, the »eQ« on »venturion« even has an extra
button that can be assigned a custom function — sort
of like a speed dial button for the presetter. “This kind of
detail certainly accelerates processes,” Pfau explains.
“I can assign the clamping function to it, for instance,
and then move the cutting edge into place and clamp it
immediately with one hand. Of course, these kinds of
details are just fun, too — and those who like to work,
work better. That’s why we place so much value on sim
plicity and comfort in all our products.”
