No, Ried in Austria is not Texas and as far as we know
there is also no ranch with cowboys. But there is a
ZOLLER Austria there and the members of the Austrian
Association of Precision Tool Grinders (FÖPW) held their
Annual Meeting there in 2011. One of the highlights was
the »lasso« measuring function from ZOLLER which is
used for the automatic analysis of contour profiles of
tools. ZOLLER reported on this on their own blog.
