»zidCode« — Simply Perfect for Small to
Mid-sized Businesses
An ideal way to start building your smart
factory: The ZOLLER »zidCode« identifi
cation code. It requires neither a network
connection nor any software installed on
the machine controller, and can be easily
added to turning machines, milling ma
chines, and processing centers. The only
stipulation is a USB connection on the
keypad of the machine controller. This
application is extremely simple. Tools are
measured using your ZOLLER presetter
and measuring machine as usual, then
all data is encrypted in a QR code and
printed on a label. The QR code then sim
ply needs to be scanned in with the as
sociated reader, and the data is trans
ferred into the appropriate fields on the
machine controller.
ZOLLER has developed a unique label
solution especially for Schütte, INDEX and
TRAUB machines — the data is either trans
mitted via QR code, as with »zidCode«, or
via DataMatrix code. The simple application
principle is the same in every instance —
and manual data input (with typos) is now
finally a thing of the past.
