Compatible and patented software solutions “AWV” (for

automatic “Werkzeugvermessung” or “tool measurement”)

and “Multivision” by ZOLLER were the first image processing

and tool measuring systems in the world in

1992

. User

independent, fully automatic, and precise down to the μm

even at that time, these programs laid the groundwork for

our unparalleled »pilot« software today. “Multivision” and

“AWV” were expanded over the years and new versions were

brought to market.

The tool management solution “Tool Brain”

was introduced at the second EMO in Hanover

in

1981

, and its successor “Super Brain” was

introduced at the next EMO in

1985

“ZOLLER has been developing

software for as long as there

have been computers!”

Christoph Zoller, ZOLLER Managing Director

In grinding and sharpening companies, automotive companies or tool

manufacturers, in the middle of the production process or at shipping

and receiving, in a large or small company, today there’s a ZOLLER soft

ware solution for every application. Our first step in this comprehensive

direction was while using a Commodore computer in

1977

. ZOLLER was

testing the potential of the new software technology when it was barely

out on the market, starting with software development. The result was

the first ZOLLER tool management program, which was continuously

redeveloped over subsequent years in response to enormous demand.
