It’s time for Industry 4.0 to make its way to the shop
floor — this is ZOLLER’s aspiration in developing solutions
for economical machining. The state of BadenWürttem
berg recently gave the »flash« analytic software an
award in its competition “100 Places for Industry 4.0 in
BadenWürttemberg.”
Practical Applications in the Foreground
Besides the degree of innovation, the jury also evaluated
practical relevance. Economic Minister Dr. Nicole Hoff
meisterKraut explains: “Industry 4.0 isn’t an abstract
concept anymore. Both large companies and small and
midsized enterprises have implemented solutions and
projects that are real and “tangible,” and that bring
users true added value.
Live Tool Monitoring with »flash«
»flash«, in particular, makes it possible to monitor all
the tools used in the production process live. Communi
cation with the CNC machine makes it possible to
centrally query tool lives across different controllers,
organize tools accordingly, and complete tool exchanges
on time.
