In
2007,
we set another standard for simplicity — with our »elephant« technology,
which allows even untrained personnel to measure standard tools. The elephant is a
symbol for ZOLLER’s “no problem” philosophy. Part of this is the promise to guide even
untrained users quickly and easily from the start of measurement to a log of results
through intuitive and easytounderstand operating technology.
“AWV” was replaced by »saturn« in
1999
.
We retained its simple operation and
absolute precision. In addition, now all
available cutting edge geometries were
automatically recognized, measuring
ranges adjusted, and manual input and
typos avoided.
In
2006
, seven years after the introduction of Multi
vision 2, it was finally time for »saturn«. »pilot 3.0«
image processing technology, which remains unpar
alleled to this day, was on the path to success right
from the start. Just like its predecessors, »pilot« was
also an immediate hit with our customers due to its
intuitive operation, reliability, and almost unlimited
possibilities for tool presetting and measuring.
In
1998,
ZOLLER presented »toolmanager«, the first stand
alone tool management solution that impressed users with
features like a graphic user interface, direct database con
nection to the ZOLLER presetter, and — somewhat later —
through direct data import from the CIMSOURCE tool catalog.
