of our corporate culture. With courage and a
pioneering spirit, he established trends in the
industry and made ZOLLER what it is today.
This visionary entrepreneur celebrated his
75th birthday on September 1st, 2016.

TURNS 75!
Whereother people seeproblems, Eberhard
Zoller sees opportunities. That’s always
been the case. After he started working
at his father Alfred Zoller’s company in
1968, he was the one who began produc
tion of high-quality presetters. When no
one else was worrying about software,
he had already had the company’s first
programs for ZOLLER machines devel
oped on the first Commodore computers.
And when the technical world uniformly
presented itself in red, green, and blue,
he gave his company an unforgettable
paint job with neon yellow, black, and sil
ver. It is precisely this courage to try out
new things and get outside of familiar
paths that gave the ZOLLER company an
early edge against its competition.
Eberhard Zoller celebrated his 75th birth
day on September 1st, 2016. For a con
summate entrepreneur like himself, this
is no reason to head into retirement.
He’s at the company headquarters in
Pleidelsheim almost daily — he always
has an open ear for questions from em
ployees — all of whom he knows person
ally. The workforce values this commit
ment, and they came up with something
very special to honor their senior boss
on this big day. A helicopter picked up a
surprised Zoller at home and flew directly
to the company, where there was no work
waiting for him this day — but rather the
whole team, gathered together, to con
gratulate him by forming a big “75.” We
can’t wait to find out what the employees
are going to think of for his 80th birthday.
